Our Story
This is the story of Federico and Susana Bandini, who as children emigrated from Argentina to Houston, only to return to their homeland to realize a cherished dream: owning their own winery.
When I arrived at this place and realized that this was the heart of Las Compuertas, I said, this stays, this is history, this is Mendoza.

How we do it
Our approach at Bandini House of Wines is grounded on a commitment to excellence and an unwavering attention to detail, principles ingrained in our work from the project's inception. From the outset, the project was supported by a distinguished group of experts from various fields to ensure its successful execution.
Agronomist Rodrigo Guisasola, in collaboration with the seasoned Marcelo Canatella, oversees intricate vine management tasks, meticulously measuring and analyzing each plant in the vineyard to achieve optimal results.
In our cutting-edge winery, Alberto Moreno leads production, benefiting from the lead of renowned expert Marcelo Pelleriti. Utilizing state-of-the-art technology and grapes produced from our superior vines, this experienced team consistently crafts exceptional wines.
The vineyard thrives in clay loam soils resting on a stony base, remnants of the wider bed of the Mendoza River from long ago. These nutrient-poor soils compel the vines to concentrate on producing small, intensely flavored berries with high skin-to-pulp ratios and low water content. The outcome: wines that are rich and intricate, characterized by firm, well-defined tannins
Like all endeavors aimed with the hope of transcending time, this project is marked by the strength of the familial bond and the spirit of those who return to their homeland.
