Vinification
Looking only to the finest selection of grapes planted on our best parcels on premium rocky soil, the grapes that are selected for this wine are manually harvested. A cold maceration, at 46.4 °F, takes place for two days, followed by alcoholic fermentation in first use French oak barrels whereby the daily movement of the wine begins to offer the first hints of the fruit. Finally, a post-fermentation maceration then occurs for fifteen days, at a temperature maintained between 82 °F- 86 °F, to express the aromatic potential of the wine.
Tasting Notes
This fine wine produces an intense red color with violet undertones. It offers a complex aroma reminiscent of fruits, such as blueberries and blackberries. The round tannins are savored in the mouth and offer an aftertaste with subtle hints of chocolate and tobacco. The combination of the oak and the characteristics exclusive to our unique terroir produce this Argentine Malbec, a mighty and elegant wine.
